The fun cruise happens before the traffic...
The Woodward Dream Cruise is this upcoming Saturday. Locals have called it the Woodward Parking Lot in recent years as the traffic is so bad during the event that it takes hours to move a few miles. Myself and everyone I know cruises on Wednesday or Thursday night before the tourist traffic picks up. Jim and I put the GoPro on the back of the 1996 Miata and cruised from Pontiac down to Ferndale, above is a time lapse of the portion between Birmingham and Ferndale.
