Garage Update 1: "Finished"

It can never truly be finished.

The garage is now in a "finished" state meaning the major setup work has been done. We started with an empty box in September 2022, now we have a usable space. The floor was professionally installed by MotorCity Floors and Coatings. The mezzanine and stairs were professionally installed by the original builder. The rough framing of the bathroom was professionally installed but we redid a lot of it. We completed electrical, plumbing, drywall, tiling, and other finish work on the bathroom. The rest of the painting and finish work on the mezzanine and walls was also done by us. Hunter Fabrication & Steel Design custom built the hand rails for the stairs and mezzanine. ARESCO professionally installed the Bendpak XPR10-AS 10,000lb 2-post lift.

November 2021: Construction started.

September 2022: Keys turned over, just an empty space.

January 2023: Mezzanine built - no stairs yet.

February 2023: Lift installed.

March 2023: Bathroom electrical and plumbing roughed in.

March 2023: Mezzanine stairs installed.

May 2023: Car show and open house at the garage complex

June 2023: Bathroom mostly finished, under mezzanine lights mounted, painting in-progress.

June 2023: Railings installed, carpeting installed on mezzanine.

July 2023: Stairs painted.

August 2023: Making the mezzanine livable, painting done, kick panel installed. "Finished."
